June 23-26, 2020 | Washington, DC



The American Solar Energy Society heads to the campus of The George Washington University in Washington, DC from June 23-26, 2020, to continue the conversation on maximizing renewable energy and to forge pathways for communities in every state to follow to achieve the renewable energy transformation.

  • Solar 20/20 will kick-off with a Stronger Together Town Hall and Opening Reception on Tuesday afternoon and evening, June 23rd, 2020.
  • The core Conference will follow with three days of thought-provoking speakers, panel discussions, poster presentations, and industry workshops, June 24th - 26th.  
  • There will also be an Awards Banquet on June 24th, an Industry VIP Tour of the Solar Decathlon on June 25th, plus other Special Events during that week.
  • Apply today to present at the longest-running Solar Conference on Planet Earth!

Established in 1954, the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the development and widespread adoption of renewable energy to achieve a healthy, sustainable world for all.  ASES is the U.S. section of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and the networking center for regional, local and student Chapters across the country. 


The Mid Atlantic Solar Energy Society (MASES) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit similarly dedicated to the creating a sustainable word for all, but with emphasis on the supporting local and regional communities across Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  In addition, MASES serves as a regional chapter of the American Solar Energy Society.
